Mortimer's Wines Cellar Door is a place where passion and dedication meet a rich family history. Founded by Peter and Julie Mortimer after retiring from Peter's Rugby League career, Mortimer's Wines has become a celebrated name in Orange. With their vineyard, Chestnut Garth, planted in 1995, Mortimer’s grow Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz grapes, while their Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from a neighbouring vineyard. Their commitment to sustainability and creating the perfect ecosystem results in elegant and complex fruit transformed into exceptional cool climate wines by master winemakers Simon Gilbert and Chris Derrez.
