Nestled on the western edge of the Coal River Valley, Merriworth Wines is a boutique producer of premium cool climate wines. The vineyard, established in 2001 by local winemaker John Skinner, benefits from a unique combination of terroir and clonal diversity. The cool yet dry climate, protected from wind and blessed with ample morning sun, creates the ideal conditions for growing Pinot Noir and Riesling. With a focus on clonal variety and careful vineyard expansion, Merriworth Wines showcases a wonderful spectrum of flavours and is poised to develop new wine styles.
